Building Better: Rethinking Leadership in Construction is the result of an ongoing collaboration between Ambition Theory and NCCER. This 2025 report builds upon the Building Better: A Women in Construction study conducted in 2023.

The goal of this study was to understand the systemic barriers that continue to hinder women’s full participation and career advancement in this field and identify opportunities to break down those barriers to better support women in the construction industry.
